This Danish tiled square side table was made in Denmark in the 1970s by Mobelfabrikken Toften. It has a solid teak frame in a typically simple mid-century Danish design, topped with four large glazed ceramic tiles with an interlocking design in a warm orange and brown colourway. The tiles make it very practical, as they are heat and stain resistant, as well as being very attractive and recognisably from the 1970s when this style of furniture was very popular.
