We work closely with local authorities, housing providers and support organisations to supply low-cost, good-quality reused furniture to people who need it most. But demand is rising—and it’s putting increasing pressure on what we can provide.
Recently, we supported a single parent of two who had moved into a new tenancy after a period in temporary accommodation, with no furniture at all. Within days, we were able to provide beds, a sofa and a dining table.
“It’s made such a difference. The kids have somewhere to sleep and do their homework. It finally feels like home.”
As well as supporting local households, we also help reduce waste by diverting reusable furniture from landfill.
We need more support to keep up with demand. If you can donate furniture, volunteer your time or contribute funding, it will make a real difference.
