This is a Bureau with a fantastic rustic patina throughout, with lots of character and charm. The rustic wood finish has a prominent grain to the oak adding to that character. The design feels paired back and simple, it has an oak fall with a reading slope covered in a green leather effect finish. The metal furnishings are a brass colour in a matt finish which suits the rustic look of the piece and the locks are in working order for the fall.

For storage the fall has a depth of 34cm and good space in front of the built-in shelves, the drawer on the bureau is however a false drawer with no function, simply has the pull-out arms to rest the fall on in that space. The cupboard below did have a shelf but sadly had been lost in a move.

Dimensions: H – 107cm, W – 74cm, D – 36.5cm.

Condition: The item does show wear and tear to the piece in keeping with aged style and gives added character to the rustic finish of the oak. Photos have been taken of these areas.
