Item is in good condition for its age and has been restored by previous owner taking it from a cream painted finish back to original oak. Small areas are visible of this in the drawer recesses and then in the side of the piece where the grain is a little deeper. There are some marks to the top with water marks, however the photo showing a gloss finish to the surface has mostly now come off, small residual amounts only. Photos have been taken of these areas.

This is an elegant piece with a simplicity to its design. It is a solid oak chest of drawers meet vanity with beautiful turned details on the feet and the uprights holding the mildly foxed mirror, the piece also has a gorgeous warmth and grain to the oak.
Featuring four good sized drawers with original metal handles these are graduated in size from a depth of 13cm to 15.5cm to 20cm. In excellent restored condition, there are lots of polished in marks and blemishes as to be expected which all add to the vintage appeal of the piece with a couple of water marks that could be restored further, however there are signs that this piece has been stripped and sanded back from a cream paint finish as some signs still visible in the drawer recesses and mildly in the grain on the sides of the chest.
